Schlissel was met in Schembechler Hall by Michigan sports administrator Mike DeBord, who accompanied him to practice.

I hope Schlissel asked him if things were always this ridiculous. He'd answer, "No, not back in my day. Sure there were always the fan complaints and what not, but they were easy to ignore. Or should have been. A man named Bill Martin made a foolish decision to listen to the fans in 2007, and now, as the saying goes, he sits with them. Things have not been the same since."
