Ah Skit

Most?

Okay, link me to those most which haven't.

people are in business to make money. He is worth $3B. Most of what he has done has been successful or he wouldn't have $3B.

A person can have 10 failed business ideas but if the 11th is a huge success, he is a success.

I still think he is a tool

I have no doubt that Trump is wealthy, b/c he rarely risks his personal assets towards large purchases, but IMO, he is a low 3 digits multi-millionare in cash, endorsements, book sale royalties, golf course income, and real estate rentals, but not a billionaire. He has a charity which he personally hasn't contributed to since '06.

I would give Trump the Golden Dick for 2017, and Hillary the Dick for the year before, for the way she and the DNC dicked over Bernie.

Now the DNC is bringing a lawsuit regarding the outcome of the election!

Another good name for the award to the biggest asshole on the planet would be the Jurassic Prick Award.

Maybe one organization could award the Golden Dick, and another the Jurassic Prick, just like the way they used to do in college football.

In most years, both the Dick and the Prick would be going to the same asshole, but every now and then, the Dick would be going to one asshole and the Prick would be going to a different asshole.

In those years, we would say "the asshole is split" or "this year, we have a split asshole," or a "split in the asshole."

Remember when the wizards at Nobel awarded 0bama the Peace Prize approximately fifteen minutes after he walked into the Oval?

https://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/2009/press.html

It's going to be funny as hell watching them explain why they failed to consider Trump for same if/when this comes together:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/20/north-korea-suspends-nuclear-missile-tests

All Trump hate aside, wouldn't credit go to China's governing body/president? I thought they're the ones that had the super secret train ride meeting with Fat Kim? I don't really care to be honest, credit is a side note. North Korea being brought into the 21st century and getting it's people fed instead of creating nuclear stockpiles is a win for everyone.

Also, Obama getting the Nobel is a fucking joke. That's as laughable as HRC's recent book quote, "They were never going to let me be president." Ok...not as laughable, but you get the point.

Does China's president even have a name? Or does China all consider all 18 billion of its people as being the president in one?

And how hard would it be to fit 18 billion a stage to hand a prize? Or how hard would it be for all of them to make a speech? Or recieve flowers?

When you think about it, almost nothing has changed since the last the election.

Before the election, we used to have a commie, who was born in another country, running our Executive Branch of government.

And now, we still have a commie, who was born in another country, still running our Executive Branch of government.

China has always been the key. But no American President, politician or diplomat has been able to get China to yank North Korea's chain, ever.

I agree, by the way, that credit is a side note. But if something good happens we already know the left will go overboard in terms of denying whatever role Trump might have played. The first four words of your post don't happen, ever.

I agree.

He was NOT a successful real estate developer, or "businessman" as real smart guys like Tom Dalton and jwilco call anyone who wears a suit and seems like they're involved in big important things.

After multiple failed bankruptcies that revealed just how incompetent & sleazy he was at real estate, and gambling, (basically doing anything legit), he got back on his feet only by licensing his name to products - bought by the kind of idiots that believe "Trump" is a label of quality and sophistication - and by becoming a reality TV star.

Even today, other than a handful of properties he managed to hold on to after bankruptcy, his "buildings" and "projects" are all financed and completed by 3rd parties... he just licenses his name to them.

List of failed Trump businesses: link.

list includes the New Jersey Generals of the USFL, but you can basically credit Trump for the league folding as quickly as it did, by pushing them to compete directly with the NFL.

this list also doesn't include the multiple times he failed as a real estate developer and casino owner.

I wonder how many Trump voters know this shit? Probably less than I would think. sometimes I assume other people would actually do the same things I do, like get books on people and things and read them, and even though I shouldn't be, I am always surprised when it turns out not to be true.

But besides not giving one shit about the middle class and the poor, isn't the Gop the most corrupt political party in the history of all times? Is it even close?

The Golden Dick Award for the biggest asshole on the planet is a good one - I think I'm going to start that.

plus, for profit prisons are bad because they're a tool of the GOP to keep minorities in prison for money.

A person doesn't need books to know this shit.

You posted a link to an online article.

The author of the article pretty much sited shit she had seen on TV - just like everyone else had seen it.

Website which tracks Trump's daily itinerary:

https://factba.se/topic/calendar

In order to make his schedule look "busier" Trump's assistants have long been breaking down his travel time and stops incrementally.

"The President, THE FIRST LADY, the President of France, and Mrs. Macron plant a tree on the South Lawn South Lawn"

More like stand there and watch the tree being planted. Is there a South Lawn within the South Lawn?

Obama was awarded the Nobel by their committee...so why didn't you begin a letter writing campaign to complain with reasons why he he was so very undeserving of such a prize? You make it seem like Obama himself always intended to compete for the award from the get-go.

Maybe you feel that he should have refused to accept it on general principle? Trump sure as hell wouldn't. We would never hear the end of it...he would bring it up over and over and over again in tweets and speeches, unlike Obama.

And comparing it to Hillary's "laughable" quote is just being facetious.

Sometimes I wish that Romney had won in '12, then maybe we wouldn't have this blithering blathering imbecile Drumpfkopf squatting in the Offal Orifice.

And I will have to "see" this incredible modernizing transformation in NK actually occur and continue for several years before really believing it.

I think when Obama received the award, he said something about not viewing it as an award for anything he had done, but a general award for American leadership in the world. I think he also named someone else more deserving in an interview.

Ah but books provide a far richer tapestry and probing understanding than mere internet lists can. That's the shit I'm into.

the list is fun though... even though he was a "well-paid billionaire," (or at least he played one on TV) as late as 2009 he was hawking vitamins and health supplements under the Trump brand (and FAILING AT THAT TOO).

I think of how people in "the know" knew all this about Trump - even going back to the 80's. The story about how Pete Rozelle and the NFL owners circled the wagons to keep him out of the club is telling enough, but also ironic and infuriating when you think about it. He wasn't "allowed" to own an NFL team, but he could become our president.

Nah. Money is an indicator, but it's not proof of any positive quality. Martin Skrelli (or whatever his name is) had made a bunch of money at some point. So had the Enron guys. And in the banking fallout where Lehman Brothers went bankrupt, some people made fortunes and some lost tons. I don't think who won and who lost aligns to some measure of fairness. We like our free market system to reward people in proportion to how much good they bring to society, and it does a lot of that, but it's not some rule. Van Gogh, Tesla, Gutenberg...gobs of important inventors, authors, and artists made huge contributions without getting wealthy. People are rewarded for bad stuff or not rewarded for good stuff all the time. To my knowledge, there aren't any stories about Trump bringing something to the table. Plenty of stories about lies and bullying, stories that preceded his political career. He does have that celebrity quality, that's something, usually limited to attractive people, so, more impressive than most.

It was Jim Varney.
