Get StartedIt's going to be Delmon. It has to be Delmon. It's the only thing that fits in this upside down world we live in.
Jeter's ankle
So they put a better SS in the field. Having Jeter gone means nothing.
It may mean nothing if his replacement plays well.....but there is a reason that Jeter is the starter and lead off batter....the buy behind him isn't as good.
No. But Jeter, I'm not afraid of him in the NYY lineup. Other guys, especially the LH power but a single or two by Jeter doesn't worry me.
Jeter makes that offense run like Ajax does ours.
Don't underestimate what losing him means, a .300 hitter, who has historically been clutch in the postseason, and a base stealing threat.
Yankees don't have anyone who can hold Jeters jock like we don't have anyone who could hold Ajax's.
Following that logic Mitch everyone in the Tigers lineup is a HR whenever threat but Berry.
Homeruns do not decide ballgames alone, Jeter is that teams leader, and sparkplug, and he's Mr Clutch.
