All I want for Christmas...

Well, I would argue the exact opposite for two main reasons:

1- JBC's play calling has been shit basically since he started. I am hearing and seeing the exact some posts from the start till now. So, Stafford liked what he did, he even quoted multiple times how comfortable he is with JBC and how the offense is coming together. That's why the dude came back under a new coach, which is shit you NEVER see with a new coaching staff. Keeping leftovers.

2- And if he did not like his play calling, he should do what any leader does and stop executing what he's doing. Stafford looks like a zombie out there, doing whatever is called. He's not, so that means he's cool with the calls.

Lmao. Jesus Christ this ridiculous

Ok? That's fine that you think that. But ultimately, any criticism of JBC's play calling loses a lot of luster when the QB that people keep propping up wanted him around. That play calling becomes tied to his hip.

I'm watching the same game you are. I'm watching a QB that goes out, snaps the ball, throws whatever shit he does without even considering changing things, and walks off. He has NO fire, none. I just get a kick out of people assuming that when JBC is let go, everything will suddenly be fine.

This team is lacking a ton of talent. But #9 is a massive problem right now.

You been dipping into the special eggnog early or what bruh? Lol. Stafford does not draw up plays, schemes or packages. This is Cooter's offense. So what if Stafford is/was comfortable with Cooter?! This offense has turned into a pile of heaping dogshit!! Stafford of course is partly to blame. He has to run it but he has gone from a damn good QB to terrible in one yr. Something is wrong and it needs to be fixed ASAP. Cooter needs to go!! End of ****ing story...

I do agree that there is no fire. He looks disconnected, lackuster, bored or some other word you want to use. The whole offense is a mess but don't tell me he doesn't audible out of shit. You're making shit up. Maybe he's checking down too much but his guys are not helping him. Players are not getting open.
And who said things are suddenly going to be fine when Cooter goes?? Nobody is saying that lol. The move has to be done though. It's not even debatable. You bring in another fresh, young, hungry OC and get those juices flowing again. Stafford's on the hot seat. Talent or not, his window is closing fast.

And you can't say #9 is a massive problem. Then in the same breath say that this team is lacking a ton of talent. You just can't. Stafford should not get a pass either but he is throwing the ball to pure shit right now. Other than Golladay, who the **** is he supposed to trust out there? No MJ, no Tate, no KJ. He's throwing the ball to guy's named Andy ****ing Jones and TJ Jones. And a backfield that consists of a slow plodding white RB and and even slower RB in Blount. This team's a mess...

And don't even get me started on the defense lol

I just want to say all I want for xmas has nothing to do with the lions

The lions aren’t worth it

It's not that he's "comfortable" with Cooter. He advocated for him to stay. How often do you ever hear/see that happen with a new coaching regime? Probably never. If Stafford cares enough and their relationship is that amazing, he can sit down with JBC and say, "Let me throw the ****ing ball. Enough of this shit." But, I just do not think he cares. He has his money, he says nothing, he shows nothing. He looks like an empty vessel right now.

The whole team sucks. Stafford is a BIG problem. I cannot continue to defend the man. I tried, I really did. I even was willing to accept that he finally looked to have righted the ship. But, in the biggest spots, and when the team needs him the most, he folds.

The Lions need to do in the next year or so, what the Chiefs, Ravens did. Draft your guy, start to build towards the new future. This guy ain't part of it.

I want Stafford gone. I'd rather have Cassel than Stafford. His time is just up. I'm actually starting to hate everything about this team, and it all starts with their cowardly qb.

I think they just need to start planning for the future. It's time to move on. He had 10 years. Nothing has happened.

Then blame Quinn or Patricia for retaining Cooter!! Holy ****. Stafford was asked a question about Cooter and all he said was that he'd still like to work with him and they had a good relationship. That's all!!! No begging, no pleading. Je answered a simple ****ing question and this retard fanbase turns it into a soap opera. But if you want to sit here and put the blame on someone. Blame Quinn or Patricia. They make the final decision. Not #9

He didn’t used to be this way, I know it’s in there if they can help him find it again that would be good, he needs to take a stand and lead...next year..I recommend an off season program full of brain re-wireing motivational chip on shoulder activity, no commercials please

How scary is that? We have to blame a first year coach. Yikes. Not saying it's scary you are suggesting it but wow. This team sucks.

What QB right now in the draft is worth drafting high for the Lions? Terrible QB class this yr but let's draft a mediocre QB in the 1st or 2nd rd and pass up on that game changing DE/CB and/or LB to start a rebuild?? ****ing brilliant lol. No thanks!!

Actually, I like Haskins quite a bit, even as an M fan. He's not super fast, but he can make every throw.

But if they don't make the playoffs in 2019, it HAS to be next draft. And it has to be a first rounder.

I'd put it more on Quinn because it's HIS team. Patricia has **** all to do with the offense. I don't care what he's telling the media...

Not a fan of Haskins at all. I'd throw my cat out the window if they did that...

Who do we realistically think would be a good replacement for cooter and please don’t say suggest the patriots guy whom dissed the colts and hasn’t been successful anywhere outside of NE we already got a couple of those

They blamed Linehan, and then they blamed Lombardi, and then they blamed Cooter. Who's next? It's all bullshit.

I saw a LOT of things today that make me question Patricia?s competency. That?s not good.

1. Blount does not do ONE thing Zenner can?t. It?s an unbelievably dumb decision to continue to play Blount. It is not in the best interest of the team. It?s not. And I?m not ok with that fat **** continuing to the play someone because of his personal relationship with him.

2. Choosing to punt from the 38 when you have Matt Prater? Indoors! ****ing seriously? When your team really struggles to move the ball and score points you ****ing punt it? That?s a ****ing cowardly move.

3. Hail Mary defense. How can only two defenders even know where the ball is? 2. WTF?! That play took 10 seconds and only 2 defenders can even find where the ball is before it?s caught? How? Have we practiced it this year?

I?m going to chalk this year up to learning on the job. I don?t have any other explanation for it. As positive as I always try to remain about the Lions.....these are terrible signs that your head coach just doesn?t get it.
