Andre Johnson wants Trade

I honestly didnt post this to start a debate. But your list proves that Mayhew doesn't usually screw up 1st rounders. Levy, Slay and Warford were good picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, too. But he drafted Best and Pettigrew, too. So he can screw up first rounders too.

I think they should open up the second round of the draft to fan vote. It seriously couldn't be any worse.

Injury has made him look worse than he actually did in Round 2 and 3. Talent wise and need wise at the time, you can see why the picks were made. Best was a need, Leshoure was a need (complement), Young was a need, Broyles (future need with Burleson age and contract), Bentley (ok nickel who keeps getting hurt), Spievey a need.

He's rebounded in free agency to make up for Round 2/3 flops and injuries. Tate,Quin,Mathis,Bush

Drafting a first round pick in Best, and then coming back to draft a "complement" in the 2nd round is not a need. Even the word that you use, complementary piece, is not a need. Big difference.

You need a bruiser. Yes it was a need. And late Round 2 using a 3rd/4th. And that is about where LeShoure was rated (Round 2). Still kept the real 2nd for Young.
