How the hell does ARkansas move up from 10 to 7 in the coaches poll after getting raped their last game ? I know some teams lost but WTF. They don't deserve to move up. If they would have at least competed I could understand. Also NO WAY the SEC deserves 4 teams in top 15. I hope and pray that they get stomped in all their bowl games.

If Michigan draws an SEC team you can count on our team to do their part.
GO BLUE!

The Harris Poll was created when the AP backed out of the BCS, saying in effect that they did not want to be part of that clusterfrick.

each conference nominates a couple of dumbass ex-players, ex-coaches, or other stupid meatheads who should understand how to rank football teams "in theory" since they played/coached the game for years. According to some sources, the instances of Harris Poll voters votes being totally biased voting based on conference affiliation, confusing teams and voting for the wrong one, or failing to vote completely happens all the time.

I remember a pollster a couple years ago voting Oklahoma #2 even though they had lost that week. He hadn't even looked at the scores from that week and told the committee he had "assumed" they won.

SEC voter collusion...

it's happened time and time again. It's why the SEC champ is basically guaranteed a championship birth, regardless of how many losses they have.

I don't understand why the AP is still around? Do they have their own thing going or what?

they've been ranking games for decades. why should they stop just because the BCS doesn't include them?

at least it gives us another form of rankings to compare and contrast with the garbage the BCS gives us.

Only 2 SEC teams I wouldn't want to play. LSU and Bama are the real deal. Everyone else is beatable IMO. Just think if OSU gets the nod over Bama for the championship. That would leave Bama there for an at large bid, Yikes. You never know, UM might get Bama in the Sugar. I wouldn't want that one if I were you.
