AP Charged for SECOND Abuse

Never been one to like KO, but admit that now and then he puts together a solid piece. This was one of those...but it is basically a story that writes itself so hard to give KO too much credit. Still, he hit all the points, backed up the position with concrete examples, very solid.

Had not heard about the defensive wounds on the hands before this, but I'm out of the loop. How does a person beat a small child like that? What could that kid possibly have been doing to even remotely warrant the first lashing let alone the numerous ones he got.

My wife keeps saying, the NFL promotes these actions because the league encourages the aggressive nature, the testosterone pumping, steroid abusing, hormone injecting, pill popping, concussion causing, and more, without getting these guys to understand they must leave all of that on the field and never take it off the field. The more stories like this that come out, the more I'm inclined to agree. Definitely need someone to take over as Commish who will put an end to this type of thing.

Budweiser, Radisson Hotels, Minnesota's Governer, Chris Carter, Fran Tarkenton, Nike, and Vikings message boards all displeased and/or separating themselves from the Vikings and AP.

They and more have to be the responsible voices, because their money and voices will be heard over any of ours. If all the sponsors pulled out, you can bet your ass the Vikings would put AP on the Inactive list until further notice. Sad that they do not have a strong enough moral compass to do the right thing and need big money to be shown right from wrong.
