As for me, one of the few things even close to being ascetic in my life right now is watching Jim Harbaugh, Don Brown, and our Wolverines grind opposing teams into paste.

Absolutely go MSU in this game. Not because I like them, but because it helps Michigan the most. That's it.

If OSU wins then meh. It's one of those I will just sit back and enjoy no matter what happens really.

I'll root for Sparty, sort of. since we play both teams, it seems like whoever wins it should be a wash to our strength of schedule.

I suppose the human element of pollsters might prefer to see us beat a one-loss Ohio State team, instead of making a mental note that our 14-pt win @ MSU was even more impressive.

I did see after the purdue loss a blurb that both he and Gene Smith were denying rumors that there was "friction" between them. Where there's smoke...

I do think people - especially ohio state people - ignored what a bomb Meyer threw when he unilaterally issued that public comment that Gene Smith knew about Zach Smith's wife beating when it happened.

Hey I just realized that Byco might not have even heard about the Zach Smith thing while he was doing his ascetic program.

We need another way to communicate important news to board members who might be unavailable due to things like that, or religious holidays.

Forde's rationale was that the Zach Smith 'incident' took a toll on him, but that he's still got some mental/physical health issues and that "something is just wrong."


He then mentioned how they recruit "like an SEC program" but are underperforming and tend to win on talent alone, not coaching or scheme.
