B1G vs ACC challenge

So apparently there is a physical cup/trophy. Must be in Chicago.

OK, but its not like there's a brand new one every year like the NC trophy

Personally, I think that in order to win the trophy, you have to beat the team/conference that has the cup/trophy. If all the players on each team were completely new each year, then a draw would mean nobody gets it, but I think since there is carry-over to the next year, that you have to win to get it back.

But frankly, I don't care if we have the cup/trophy due to a tie. It definitely wouldn't mean as much.

it's basically no different than the Brown Jug, or the Paul Bunyan trophies. Back when they had ties in CFB, the prior winner held on to it in the event of a tie.

The Big Ten/ACC Commissioner's Cup is basically no different than the Little Brown Jug?

For shame, Champ, for shame...

I guess it is all academic at this point. B1G wins with a 7-2 record at this point and 3 games to play.

B1G wins 8-4

and a couple of those 4 were really close...

Would have been sweet if Wisconsin beat NC, but oh well, finally a convincing win the for Big Ten.

The cup is ours!!!!
