5:00 Akron vs Toledo (if Rutgers loses close)

That?s mostly everything. There may be a few conference games left out where we want to generally root for the higher seed to prevent bid thieves. With that said some of these are a lot more important than others.

Illinois, Iowa, UNC, Richmond, Tulsa, and Texas Tech winning would be the most important results today.

Illinois loses and A&M is pounding Auburn. Auburn is 14/54 shooting today. Not a good start to the day for Michigan's tourney chances.

CBS sports Jerry Palm on the Huge radio show said we were out and probably Rutgers too. He was pretty emphatic that the committee just doesn?t use net rankings and Michigan record is just not good enough. Let?s hope the other guys are right and he is wrong.

Far more to do with the players than any of our coaches. We saw the quotes before the last OSU game. These guys put it on cruise control too often. Martelli made it pretty clear they've been trying to get through to the guys all year. Sometimes no matter how hard the coaches try, it just doesn't matter.

I?m so disgusted by the last collapse I can?t even pay attention. If our guys get in I?ll watch every game they play - sadly I don?t expect there will that many.

If they don?t get in the season is over.

After the last loss thinking about Michigan basketball - or college basketball at all - makes me sad.
