has MSU ever played in a BCS bowl?
I don't even know how many my school has played in.
Back in 82, if coach would have put me in wed have won state and then I'd have met my soulmate
What happens if MSU beats OSU? Is it possible both OSU and Wisc go to bcs bowl games or is that not possible?
Wed be 4th, the worst of the undefeated teams due to schedule and where we started.
As for the bcs bowl, we need to beat osu. I see the orange or sugar taking Wisconsin over us if we lose unfortunately
On another note, I noticed the SEC poll bias rearing it's ugly head again. You've got Auburn, who needed the miracle of all miracles to win at home vs an injury decimated Georgia team last week and whose only impressive win was beating TExas A&M on the road, and Missouri who has beaten injury depleted teams all season both sitting there in the top 5. Both have also managed to avoid playing any of the contenders in the other division, yet there they are ahead of all the other 1 loss teams lurking to steal a bid into the championship game if some other weird things happen. Certain SEC teams falter, they just find some others to put in their place.
I'm pretty certain just looking at the eye test about 3 Pac 12 teams, and probably Okie State, Baylor, and Clemson would wipe the field with either team, and I'd like Wisconsin and/or MSU's chances as well.

MSU is currently ranked 11th, Wisconsin 15th. Assuming both teams with this week, the difference in ranking will likely stay the same. A loss afterwards will probably drop us 5 spots, so Wisconsin would end up higher ranked. I can't see the BCS bowls taking more than two B1G teams given the perception of the conference, and they would certainly take the higher ranked Badgers over us if they even took two.
MSU's only chance to play in a BCS bowl is to beat OSU.
