Bears Wanted Avril

According to more than half the guys on here, Avril isn't worth squat. Now we have to "hope" some idiot GM/Owner has a hard on for Cliff and offers us some draft picks? lol. Well, it worked with Jerry Jones, maybe it'll work again....

Saying someone is overrated or that Tulloch should be the priority doesn't mean we think he stinks and couldn't be worth a pick or two. Its okay we think he's just average.

he's worth a late first or early 2nd.....and almost 11 million to use elsewhere.

but thats just me.....obviously they value him they tagged him , like I said he was never going to be allowed to walk without compensation coming back our way.

IMO we don't lose much with Willie Young a Lo Jack rotating over there.
I would love the trade. The problem is you can't trade until FA starts, so they'd need to get that trade done quickly if they wanna re-sign Tulloch and maybe add a corner. And idk if it can get done quickly since you need to get Cliff to agree to a deal AND get fair trade compensation.

IMO they MUST get Calvin signed soon so they can at least get Tulloch/Backus back.

I love me some LoJack! I think he is a hoss and plays well whenever given the opportunity. Willie Young is still a little raw but similar to Avril as he currently is only a pass rush specialist. Hoping that Willie can continue to develop though.

I did. Bottom line, average players get traded all the time. And being a young DE who had numbers will bring in the offers. Teams see DE and double digit sacks and foam at the mouth and have blinders on that Suh sits next to him and its the big reason he's getting to the QB. So its not so lol that we think he's overrated and will still get offers. Its the NFL.

But if Suh is supposedly the reason for Avril's success, why get rid of that? Makes no sense, right?

Besides, most GM's are smart enough to realize that Suh makes Avril better. According to you, they may not be. So, we'll just "hope" someone offers us draft picks for him? I don't understand that....oh well.

He's a Lion (for now) and i expect double-digit sacks again from the kid.

I guess my point was that I think Suh can get someone else double digit sacks that cost less. I might be wrong but that's my opinion on it.
