Bell to get more touches this week

I'd like them to both get less touches so we can pass the ball more and win some games. Running the ball means it takes longer to score and more opportunity to screw up.

4.2 YPC for the Lions is 12th. It has only blown in select games. 49ers, twice against Vikings and against Indy other than Bell.

But it takes longer to score and because of it more opportunity to screw up. And they do. Because somehow Linehan assumes because they can get 3-4 a carry that on a 3rd and short they should run. And screw up massively. Just fkn pass the ball.

Bells long TD run against the Texans take too long? How about his 67 yard run last week? The longer Detroits D is off the field, the better imo

Then watch the defense tire and lose the game in the final minutes. Stafford is not going to win a fire fight in GB, and we know this. Keeping Rodgers off the field for long periods of time is the Lions best chance at winning. Ice the QB, and wear out the Packers D with long, drawn out scoring drives

playing in 3-6" snow...it probably wont matter what we do.

Wasnt it snowing last year in green bay when the lions and packers exploded for over 1000 combined passing yards and 11 passing tds? K, youre right, I do want to see something similar to that game again. With the Lions playoff hopes gone, maybe I can just sit back and enjoy that kind of game, would like to see the Lions pull out a W, though I dont see it happening in that type of game

snowing is one thing.....3-6" is a winter storm

All I know is when the Lions were trying to hold leads last year they threw. I don't trust them running on 3rd and short . en they need to get a first down. Go back to the 2 minutes scores and pray the D can stop them. We're not a running team and won't win running.

Kdp, bringing up 2-3 isolated plays doesn't change the fact I trust Stafford over Bell and Leshoure when the game matters

Good to see our 2nd round RB losing touches to an under drafted fa out of Wayne state/5th string NO rb.

run run pass vs the gb packers and we'll lose 40-10. Gotta air it out and match them score for score. i hear ya mitch.

throw the ball 80 times. the run game blows.

True, but i like what i've seen from Leshoure. Pretty much his first year, he runs hard and has a nose for the endzone. Gotta get him some help but you can't complain about the guy. But you will though because he's not Adrian Peterson or Arian Foster, right? Right!

And your knock on him is that Bell gets touches over him..lol. Fn brilliant. You ever think they want to see more of Bell because the season is in the tank and they're happy with Leshoures progress? Keep Leshoure healthy for next year maybe? Bell has played well but you bash it?You ever say anything positive, bro? You got a kid in Bell who wasn't drafted and he plays with a little passion and you criticize it. Why?

You're right. Leshoure is trash. x/

i didnt say anything bad about leshoure or bell. The run game blows cause our oline cant run block....same thing ive said for 10 years. Ive criticized Mayhew for continuing to try a carousel of RBs and drafting several high round RBs and thinking it will help the run game. Cause it wont...and it hasnt. The problem is the oline. I said throw it 80 times cause theres 2 things i want to see this season. CJ get yards and us to lose and get a good draft pick. You have a good pass pro oline and a #1 qb with calvin johnson....throw the ball.

Bell has been better than Leshoure. Period. And Bell isn't exactly Arian Foster, he's okay, and on his best day he is good. He runs with the same intensity and is a better pass catcher. Leshoure was a waste of a 2nd round trade up, when you can get the same production out of a cut NO fifth stringer IMO. Hughes is right, unless its Barry running behind that line, we are not going to win games rushing. As good as they have been in pass pro, that is how bad they are in run blocking when it counts.

Just to clarify, I said something bad about Leshoure, it's only his first year so the book isn't closed but being outplayed by Joique Bell isn't cause celebe.
