Bell to get more touches this week

Didn't feel like starting a new thread but did anyone notice that Bell got flagged for the excessive celebration penalty but the Colts the previous week had 2 guys doing that jackhammer dance but they didn't get a flag. NOTHING is going the Lions way this year.

i didnt say anything bad about leshoure or bell. The run game blows cause our oline cant run block....same thing ive said for 10 years. Ive criticized Mayhew for continuing to try a carousel of RBs and drafting several high round RBs and thinking it will help the run game. Cause it wont...and it hasnt. The problem is the oline. I said throw it 80 times cause theres 2 things i want to see this season. CJ get yards and us to lose and get a good draft pick. You have a good pass pro oline and a #1 qb with calvin johnson....throw the ball.

If that's not a rip, i don't know what is. You're cutting up Leshoure because he's losing touches to a undrafted RB. Makes no sense at all. Give Mayhew some credit for finding this kid.

I thought Bell ran hard Sunday he did a good job, the running game wasn't the reason they lost again.

That's because Bell and Scheffler were both doing it at the same time. Group celebrations are a no no.

Same shit happen in the Seahawks/Cardinals game earlier in the day.

Just to clarify, I said something bad about Leshoure, it's only his first year so the book isn't closed but being outplayed by Joique Bell isn't cause celebe.

Outplayed? How so? Bell is a different type of back.

He's come in and did a nice job. Most teams have 2 backs alternating now. I really wouldn't say he's "outplayed" Leshoure. Let's see Bell start some games before we say shit like that

I would like to see Bell start. The FO would have to admit a major f'up by everyone and everything that went into drafting to start UFA Bell over Leshoure. Might happen though, Bell did get the majority of the touches last night. That being said, I'm not a huge Bell fan, just think he is playing better of the two right now? Just as an aside, you think they are two different backs? I think they are similar, only one has better hands out of the backfield.

Bell is getting the luxory of favorable numbers at the line of scrimmage when hes in the backfield and he can make the one move at the line to make a guy miss. Leshoure can too but its harder when theres more people in the box. I agree....i think theyre very similar backs....which goes to show ya even moreso that Leshoure really wasnt worth trading up for imo.

That's where they're different. Bell is more of a receiving back with a bit more wiggle. Where Leshoure is a grinder and power-back.

Of course he should but you won't get that on this board. You'll only get how bad Leshoure is because an undrafted RB is stealing a little bit of thunder from our 2nd round pick. Priceless...lol.
