He is certainly worth it now to the Tigers. We would happily pay him 14.1 for a year of above average offense and defense.

It was still stupid not to make the offer in the first place, since it;s almost a guarantee he would have turned it down, and then we would have gotten a free draft pick for DD to waste.

If he's going to waste the pick then it really didn't matter. And with his history he would have..and also some teams like to keep their draft picks so maybe he's sitting there with Drew and Morales..
