Ohhh, so there's a difference between 'not secure' and 'wide open' and Biden is doing something about it even though illegal crossings are up 400% and he's not deporting any meaningful amount of people. And the massive spike in fentanyl related deaths isn't a function of Biden's not secure but also not wide open border because people OD'd on fentanyl before Biden took office.

I think I get it now, your view of the border is what the left likes to call "nuanced" which means you don't have to explain why the data that proves you wrong is in fact wrong - it just is. And anyone who disagrees is ultra right wing and doesn't understand the nuance because orange man bad and because they don't agree, they're engaging in conspiracy theories and are probably racist too.

I guess you missed the report I posted showing Fentanyl deaths started spiking under Obama and the rate of increase began to slow late in Trump's administration then went vertical under Biden.

As for this piece...LOLOLOLOLOL, did you read that report? Only a rube could read that and think Biden is doing more to secure the border. You do realize the Cato institute is funded by the open borders, anti-Trump Koch brothers (or what's left of them), right? So Biden has deported 5% more of arrestees than Trump did, great. But what you fail to acknowledge is, illegal border crossings are up 400%!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. My goodness, you can't make this stuff up.

If you're trying to argue that Biden and the Dems are as or more hawkish or more effective than Trump and Republicans on the southern border issue, ask yourself 'why is the Biden administration suing Texas and taking down physical barriers the state has set up?'

The border patrol is literally cutting through razor wire and standing by as illegal immigrants pass through the openings they just created. Doesn't that make you wonder just a little bit if this sudden pivot is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors?

I'm aware of the Supreme Court ruling and unlike you, I actually understand what the administration is doing.

Your problem isn't a warped sense of right and wrong, it's that you're just too dumb to understand what's happening. You can't comprehend that this isn't about acting within the law, it's about Biden refusing to enforce the law and preventing anyone else from doing a job they don't want done.

The government's argument is not that physical barriers are illegal because they're not. Its that immigration law is the purview of the federal government and that states don't have any jurisdiction or authority to enforce immigration law.

The government could put up a 20' wall topped with barbed wire and broken glass with an alligator filled moat on one side and a rattle snake trench on the other. But because they don't want a secure border, rather than working with the states like Texas and Arizona to enforce the law and protect the American citizens living in those states, the administration spends it's energy preventing those states from doing the job they refuse to do.

It's all there in black and white. So obvious only a rube could think otherwise.

automatic weapons are a little hard to come by, even in Texas, but fortunately semi-automatic assault rifles are easily available. I'll pick up a couple at lunch.

Those aren?t insults, they?re statements of fact. You literally have to be a rube or an idiot to read that Cato Institute report and use it as proof Biden is doing more than Trump did about the border crisis that's 4x worse since Biden took office. But whining about insults (when you started the ad hominem) is easier than admitting you're wrong (and a rube for Biden because Orange man bad).

I'm not necessarily the smartest in the room - there are several smart people that post here. I just don't think you're one of them. And I'm certainly better informed than you. That's obvious.

Immigration overtakes inflation as top policy concern as of January. Personally, it's not my top policy concern but it's probably in my top 3.

Good to know I'm not the only person that doesn't know the border is fear mongering propaganda from Fox News. Of course, the poll was conducted by by fascist, far right Harvard so it's probably biased if not flat out wrong.
