Not only are they not enforcing the law at the border but they're cutting down razor wire to allow migrants to enter the country illegally - they're actually intentionally preventing States most affected by their lawlessness from enforcing the law they should be enforcing.

See, that's just not true. Shoplifting in DC and in other areas is a misdemeanor offense and while it's true that people usually get off very lightly for a first offense, repeated arrests will carry harsher penalties.
