What do you think we've been doing? Lol. Plus, It's only one player. Regardless how great he's been if a WR is that important to winning a title then either they'll doing it wrong or us fans aren't thinking right. I love Calvin but he's still a WR. Even at the best they are replaceable.
Ya weve seen mayhew try to get wrs....dwill titus broyles. Ill stick with cj until we blow it all up. You trade cj when youre ready to put the nail in staffords coffin....mayhew will never do that.
Obvious Mayhew has under-preformed at times..SO CJ being here is more important but with him we still only scored 20 a game. He's 32 now..that's old in football terms. I honestly don't know how I'd feel if we traded him nor I expect him to be traded/cost plus injury concerns. But we have to do something, maybe drastic. Does anyone really believe our offense will improve this season?
1000 yards still with a bad wheel for like 5 games. Not so sure his skills are in decline or is due to injury. Injuries are happening more frequentlyy though. Bottom line is hes still the only guy in the field stafford can see with any consistency....
Which makes cj still the most important piece to the offense.
Short term..but right now it's killing us anyway..but why would you understand that.

1000 yards is common these days. 23 players this past season. Calvin was 16th. You can draft a 3rd round receiver to get 1000 yards. Okay maybe Mayhew can't but still..
And with Matt not accurate on deep balls, he seems to be getting worse, He's being wasted a bit..This past season he was more of a decoy for Tate. Which brings us to Caldwell/Lombardi..they're not going to open the offense. I hope Austin is all that because I expect the defense to decline..
Lombardi came out and said that the leash is coming off Stafford. Owned again
And why will this defense decline? Because of one player? According to your logic, he's one man and we should be fine. Ngata is no Suh but he's the next best thing. Walker will turn some heads this year and will be more productive than that slob Fairley ever was. Tulloch back....draft another DT and a CB....they will be fine, maybe even better
And Caldwell said the opposite. And it's more than one player, and I hope Walker does well and I won't miss Fairley. But Suh is more than one player..
Great, we have a HC and OC on different pages. Score for the Detroit Lions organization..
They're not on different pages, you fkn schmuck! Where do you come up with this shit? All Caldwell is saying is that they don't want to throw more than they have to. And Lombardi is saying that the offense is going to open up more.
Do you get it?
Try to read a little bit. That's exactly what opposites mean.
