Cam Newton has a lot to learn

That's always been cam. I didn't expect anything more than what we got.....cause that's all hes ever given us when hes lost. We just didn't have enough chances to see it this year.

Not going after the fumble was really bad.. I missed the post game stuff as I had Ancient Aliens and eBay stuff to catch up on and didn't want to see Annabel again. To bad he pouted and looked bad. Gotta be better after a loss but I am sure it is real hard after a Super Bowl loss in which your offense was totally shut down by Denver.

He has to explain not going after the fumble. He has great talent. Hopefully he will learn from it..

He's a crybaby fucking bitch. He's another spoiled overrated player who has zero heart. He is exactly what everyone saw last night. I was laughing the whole game lol

I was rooting for Denver so I was loving every minute of it too. Pretty ugly game though.

Not if you like defense. The Denver defense was fun to watch.

I liked watching Denver's defense get after it...but both offenses played terrible even when the D had little to no impact. Cam couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last night and the Denver offense was bad too.

39 year old Manning with 4 neck surgeries. He played just like he did in the regular season. So if you think about it, playing against a good defense, he was pretty good. Lol.

When people talk to much or to upbeat after a super bowl loss fans rip them for not caring and just being their for themselves and their money.
When people don't talk or are upset after a super bowl loss fans rip them for not caring and only being about themselves.

He was also being trashed on by Chris Harris in the background during the end of the interview. I think the people trashing on Cam about the interview just like to trash on Cam. Now his play can be open for debate, well not really debate he sucked yesterday, just don't see why people care so much about the interview.

Because it takes on the poor loser mentality. Talking after a game is as much football as making a pass. As far as your upbeat after a loss mentality you bring up.. Not sure I see it as not caring. I rather see that than not saying a thing, and walking out.

To who? The Media who cares. A lot of people are going to be pissed and upset after playing like shit on the biggest stage of their lives.

Here is what Peyton said about him after the game:

"Sure I tell ya, Cam couldn't have been nicer to me. He was extremely humble. He congratulated me, wished me the best. I told him just congratulations on his outstanding season and just what a great future he has ahead of him. He'll be back in that game, I can promise ya. So, I've been on that side of it. It is tough -- it is not an easy pill to swallow. But he was very nice to me and I really appreciated that."

Sounds like he was professional and professional to his fellow peers on the field. Get on a stage infront of media trying to answer dumb questions while another player is behind the screen doing interview that is dogging you. To me it's human to be upset and not want to talk.

Denver's defense is what made that game worth watching. No joke, I used Denver's time on offense for bathroom breaks instead of the commercials like usual.

He wasn't trashing on Newton. What were you listening to? Denver had a gameplan and the gameplan was if they were going to get beat, Carolina had to throw the ball because its the weakest part of his game. He overheard it and stormed off like an 8 yr old punk. He's a clown....

I look at it this way. If Cam Newton was Matthew Stafford and it was the Lions getting the loss last night......as a fan, I would ABSOLUTELY want my quarterback.....LEADER of the team.....to explain to me why he didn't go after that fumble. Wouldn't you?? And I sure as shit would want him to sit there after the loss and answer a few questions about what went wrong.

To me, that is part of being a leader and part of what they make so much $$$ for.

Cam's defense busted their fucking ASS last night. The Carolina offense gave up 17 points. Read that again......the OFFENSE gave up 17 points!!! Cam Newton OWED it to his teammates to play as hard as they did last night.....and he didn't. When the chips were down and that ball was laying there right in front of him with the fucking Super Bowl on the line.....he bailed out. BAILED OUT!!!!!

EVERY Stafford basher on this board would be calling for his head today if Matt had bitched out on his effort and then walked away from the podium after the game.

The thing is you have no idea what he said to his teammates or what happened. You want him to give an explanation to the media. Do you think any of his teammates were watching his media interview. Were they sitting there hoping their "leader" would make some grand statement in front of cameras that would suddenly make them feel so much better about getting their ass beat?

Did stafford ever explain why he bitched out and slid instead of getting the 1st down on the 4th down play against the Patriots last year? Newton deserves blame for not going after the fumble, but I don't think he was even asked about that.

Irrelevant what he said to his teammates. Nobody cares. His job is to give an interview and talk about the game. I get it though....somewhat. He's a competitor and wants to win, but when you're dabbin, dancing and posing for selfies when you're winning, you better be prepared if you lose. You dont sit there with a fucking hoodie covering your head, giving out one word answers then walk off the set because you overheard what another guy was saying about you. He's a fucking child....he's always been a child. Ever see Brady, Manning or Wilson acting like a bitch after a Super Bowl loss? No, you don't because they're professionals.

I definitely think he heard the Chris Harris interview while he was being asked questions. I definitely think that's why he got up and left. That being said....he was still acting like a little bitch. And that's how he acts when hes a loser.

I guess that's where we differ. I don't think I've ever gotten upset or ever really cared what was said in an interview. Most the time it's just canned answers. Even in the interview with Newton there were some canned answers:

"They just played better than us. I don't know what you want me to say. They made more plays than us, and that's what it comes down to. We had our opportunities. It wasn't nothing special that they did. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. That's it. They scored more points than us."

What really could he of said to these questions:

Can you put a finger on why Carolina didn't play the way it normally plays?
Is there a reason why?

Was it pretty much what you had seen on film from Denver? Anything different they put in for this game?

Do we sometimes forget that defenses can still take apart the offenses in this game?

Can you put into words the disappointment you feel right now?

For me....I don't care what you say because like you said, a lot them are canned questions and answers. Its just his attitude and his mannerisms that drive me crazy. Yeah, i understand you lost the game and you're upset. Duly noted but act like a professional. Not some punk ass kid that just got his lunch money stolen from him.

The only thing I can think of why he didn't go for the fumble is he had money on the Broncos. Way to go Cam..

It very much looked to me like he jumped out of the way for fear of taking a big shoulder to the knees. I think it was more reaction than anything.
