Carlos Beltran to the yankees

I doubt that is what they WANT to do but if they don't make some more moves that is the direction they are heading.

I honestly think that this team with mid level free agent adds will be the favorite to win the central. Just add a platoon LF and a decent BP arm or 2 later in the free agent period when prices usually fall. That said...I don't think most fans will be happy with a team like that heading into spring. I will certainly be disapointed if that is all they do.

We won the central by 1 game last year. Granted maybe the Indians had a fluke season, but then again, maybe not. The Royals are also not far behind, with the trades we have made, and the free agents we let go, we took a significant leap backwards in team potency. I don;t see a few mid level free agents helping make us favorites, I'd say the Central is going to be a tossup unless we add an impact bat and at least 2 solid bp arms.
