I don't know much about the minor leagues or advanced stats (like WAR), but if we're just talking baseball, i'm on equal footing with just about anyone.

That said, the last Fantasy baseball league i was in, i went to the championship and lost. I know you, slick, and tony were in it, but i forget who i lost to.

Also, I was a pretty damn good 2B/1B in my day.

I was just kidding :) . That's an odd combination, 2nd and 1st. I was a 2nd baseman myself back in the day. I was always a better fielder than I was a hitter.

I'm hoping for draft slot #5.

#1 overall pick would be nice, but having your second pick be #20 would hurt a bit. And then you have to pick #21 again, and decide in 90 seconds.

I'm sure I'll get guys that aren't starting. I like to draft quick and not think much. Like Matt Millen..

Well I have made myself a list of players that "should" all go in the first 2 rounds, and wherever I land in the order I'll just take whoever's on top and not crossed out.

But you watch, someone will take an SP in the first round...haha.

Uh, that's wrong? Lol. Is that like taking a WR in the first round? Or a TE?

I was just doing an ESPN mock draft on auto pilot and I was getting a pretty good team out of it. I picked 5th.

Well it depends on how the league scores, but usually you want solid position players first, guys like Cabrera, Agon, Pujols, Kemp, Braun, etc. will get you more points then your Verlanders, Kershaws, and Halladays.

So it becomes about strategy, when do you break from taking position players to try to nab an ace SP? IMO, round 2 at the earliest.

I started at 2nd, but our 1B was terrible. I was tall and could stretch pretty well so i got moved to first. I hated it, but i was good so they left me there.

SWEET! I got spot #5, you're all in big, big trouble.

7th, fk..

I only have 3 guys I want with my 1st rounder so lay off..

Over/under on actual live participants in this draft?

I'll guess 5

I think that was about right. But the auto draft ones seemed to do well..

Now that figures. I get Cabrera and now he is hurt. Typical of how my seasons go.

That was a nasty pop to the face Miggy took. Hopefully he will be ok though and I would think that he would before the season starts. The draft went well though. I took a lot of risks and have a few concerns with my team. Really hoping for some bounce back years for a couple of guys and breakout years for others. Haha
