Championship Weekend

That is a bullshit call. His arm is moving forward, that is why the ball flew forward.

NW should go to a hurry up offense. The OSU D is back on its heals. Punch em in the mouth now!!

Every single fucking time OSU needs a momentum killing play, they fucking get it when they need it.

And as im writing this they fumble......fuck yes!!!!!

Punters have one fucking job. What a dickhead!! "I think nonchalantly punt the ball 10 fucking yards."

Must be nice to be Able to recruit in places like Clemson and Alabama. The good old south . You would think Dumb fucks in the north would try to expand the playoffs to 8 or 12 schools. It makes no sense to agree on this format that is so Titled in favor of the Sec who were a few minutes away from getting 2 schools in the final four.

More teams means more SEC in the playoffs.

They are going to tweak it. My guess is it will be a 6 or 8 team playoff by next season or 2020 at the latest. I just have a hunch.

They have 7 legit teams for 4 spots.

Going to be rough for the committee

I don't think they will ever do the 5 power conference and 3 at large deal, though. I could see them just doing 8 at large or the top 8. That way they can do their stupid rankings show every week and people have to tune in to watch the hour long program and see all of the commercials...

The hype wouldn't be enough to follow for just the 3 at large bids after the 5 conference champions.

Washington really wouldn't deserve to be in this year, because the PAC is junk, but I guess they could just be knocked out the in first round if they were that bad.

I think OU # 4 locked, no charge in the top three.

You may be right about the business aspect of going to five conference champions +3 at large, but three at large is only one more than they have right now.

I would think that there would be plenty to talk about regarding division championship and conference championship races.

But yes-the possibility of more money would likely trump getting it right.

EDIT: Now that I think about it - there would probably be plenty to talk about regarding CFP rankings because right up to Championship weekend, nobody would know who is going to get the auto bid, And who is going to need an at-large invitation.

Like for example, going into the Ohio State Michigan game, the winner would go on to play for the conference championship and an auto bid, but with the loser qualify for an an at large?

Going into championship weekend, both OSU and OU would lock up an auto bid, But would either qualify for and at large?

A lot of that would have to do with what Alabama and Georgia and Clemson did in championship weekend, maybe UCF maybe one or two others.

So I think they could make pretty good play off shows even if the power five champs got auto bids.

It is and has always been about the money. Mo money, mo money, mo money! If they can figure a way to make mo money with an 8 team playoff, then we will have an 8 team playoff. If they can't figure a way to make mo money, then we won't.

I agree make it top 8 get rid for the Conference title games and it would be fine. One bad loss should not rule out anyone. Including us and Ohio st ect. The pac 12 is garbage and does not deserve a team and a 3 loss LSU team can take a hikes also . This looks fine to me bottom teams are the home teams. In some years a northern school could potentially get a home game . I would love to see those Sec teams in the cold weather.

#8 Ucf.
#1 Alabama.

#5 osu.
#4 Oklahoma.

#6 Georgia.
#3 Norte Dame.

#7 Michigan.
#2 Clemson.

Yep. THey'd have to have all preliminary rounds played at the stadium of the higher seeded team. People aren't going to travel to random neutral fields every round of the play-offs, will they?

Then people would have to scramble to get tickets to the championship game.

I agree . It would be amazing. I know all of these place would sell out , and if a big ten school had a game it would sell out also. It would be a lot of fun.
