Clete is DFA'ed

I guessed pretty good on the suitors for Clete.

Minny had the 2nd option to pick after Houston. So Balt. and Clev. wouldn't have had a chance unless Minny passed on him..

So your order should have been Minny, Balt and Clev.

That's what I'm here for, to supply useless nonsense to the masses.

:ashamed:

Maybe I'll hire you as my posting consultant/advisor. For an unspecific sum of course.
Oh Wait! My credit card is maxed-out....lol

Go Tigers! Don't get swept by the Black Saux today.

Id much rather have Clete than Inge.. Is that why they DFAed Thomas?

Sometimes a change of scenery allows for a different batting tutor to correct Clete's long swing.

Got a homer and just missed a second in his first game for the Twinkies.

I hope the hitting instructors there - even the power lefty bats in Minny, help Clete remain on the roster.

Lloyd and Red Bull both seem to help RH-hitters more than lefties. I am glad Red Bull never got to mess with Avila. Now in Detroit, his dad is overlooking anything Lloyd may want to change.

Did you just make this up?

No

You didn't know Dad has batting knowledge?

I'm sure he does, but did you read somewhere that Al Sr. oversees Alex's batting?

Cause otherwise, you just pulled it out of your hat.

The only thing I remember was that Vmart helped Avila by having him move to a heavier bat.

I think pulling it out of his hat was very generous. I think it came from south of there.

Ask John Keating. Perhaps John pulled it out of his hat too... in his interview last year with Dad.

OMG! Is it wrong for Dad and Son to discuss son's hitting once in a while? Isn't that inside a normal household roundtable they sometimes share?

Ever discuss hitting with your son or dad?

What an azz you are! Hard to believe son/dad discussions never entered your mind.

I'm done here. Talking to bash-posters like Rice not fun. This particular poster loves to slam posters on occasion. A trolling Tigers fan is the best term to describe him.

OMG Pt-2

I suspect Avila SR has respect for Leyland and the staff that he stays out of it. Just my opinion..

I'm sure they talk baseball but maybe not mechanics. But I have no idea for sure.

So you don't think a long-time head of the Tigers minor leagues ever talks mechanics with his son?
So you think the interview was doctored.

I gotta' get out of this place. Even a couple moderators appear lost here.
See ya'
I'm ending my membershiop here.

There is a difference in father-son taking mechanics and what you said, which was Al Sr. does not let Lloyd near his son.

And if you wanna get upset over that, that's your issue.

Welcome to the Interwebz fella, if you post something that's speculation, or even just something you assume, expect people to call you out on it.

If you can't handle that, maybe a sports forum is not the place for you.

This is one of the tamest, non-sided things I have ever seen Mitch post, and he got ripped for it?
