I guessed pretty good on the suitors for Clete.
Minny had the 2nd option to pick after Houston. So Balt. and Clev. wouldn't have had a chance unless Minny passed on him..
So your order should have been Minny, Balt and Clev.

Yep - I forgot the picking order.
My Bad!
That's what I'm here for, to supply useless nonsense to the masses.
:ashamed:
Id much rather have Clete than Inge.. Is that why they DFAed Thomas?
I hope the hitting instructors there - even the power lefty bats in Minny, help Clete remain on the roster.
Lloyd and Red Bull both seem to help RH-hitters more than lefties. I am glad Red Bull never got to mess with Avila. Now in Detroit, his dad is overlooking anything Lloyd may want to change.
No
You didn't know Dad has batting knowledge?
I think pulling it out of his hat was very generous. I think it came from south of there.
I suspect Avila SR has respect for Leyland and the staff that he stays out of it. Just my opinion..
I'm sure they talk baseball but maybe not mechanics. But I have no idea for sure.
So you don't think a long-time head of the Tigers minor leagues ever talks mechanics with his son?
So you think the interview was doctored.
I gotta' get out of this place. Even a couple moderators appear lost here.
See ya'
I'm ending my membershiop here.

There is a difference in father-son taking mechanics and what you said, which was Al Sr. does not let Lloyd near his son.
And if you wanna get upset over that, that's your issue.
