Coaching openings

I think I would be happy with every name on that list.

I would take any name on that list except McDaniels.......he's had 3 years without Belicheck and Brady......and been a massive failure in all three.

Maybe's he's learned.......but maybe he hasn't.

He's the coaching version of WR's Bill Schroeder and Az-Zahir Hakim.

didn't he win a playoff game with a shitty qb in tebow? Hed get a statue for that here...

Plenty of head coaches didn't win Super Bowls until their 2nd or 3rd head coaching job. If you don't like McDaniels, that's great but try to bring a little more to the conversation than "He had his chance in Denver, he failed".

I don't even know if I want McDaniels but I'm definitely not going to adamantly oppose either. Coaches learn from previous failings, some of the greatest coaches have said so. Early reports say the Titans have the inside track so it's probably redundant but if he does land here there's no reason to expect or assume Denver 2.0.

NO reason??

I'd say every reason. That is his track record. Yes, he won playoff game with TEE BOWE!!!! He also traded a 2nd, 3rd and 4th round pick to draft a QB that couldn't find an NFL job 3 years later.......without an injury history.

His track record as an OC has been terrible outside of NE.......so how much is he really doing??? Because his track record without being in NE......is nothing but horrible. So your assessment that he will be better because he "learned from his mistakes" is nothing more than a guess......because he's PROVEN nothing otherwise.

Eagles hire Chiefs OC Doug Peterson as HC. That pretty much wraps up all the jobs. Quinn can keep the band together for another year if he so chooses. Has to put Cooter under contract though.

LOL! His one season as OC outside of New England was in 2011 with St Louis where they started 4 different QBs to helm an offense that's best WR was Brandon Lloyd. You're really going to hold that against him?

Didn't say he will be better, I said it's silly to disregard him just because he failed once before because plenty of coaches have done better the second or even third time around. I'm eating dinner right now, no room for words to be put in my mouth. >:D

As far as the Tebow thing, let it go Elsa, just let it go.

I don't think they can hire anyone that's still playing.

I really don't want McDaniels either. After starting 6-0 in Denver he went 5-17. He seems to be product of the NE system rather than an offensive genius. Plus from what I have read his players hated him and didn't respect him in Denver.

So you'd be cool with a Schwartz or Miranelli reunion....... because, well, I'm sure they've learned a TON from their mistakes.

EVERYONE says so.

4 of his first 5 years as a HC under .500. He now has 4 Super Bowls. I'm sure we all know who I'm talking about. Sometimes coaches don't get it right the first time.

Doug Pederson was hired in Philly??

So they fired Andy Reid... and then brought his OC in as HC? Little odd if you ask me.

Leaving your wife for the hot girl on the block, finding out she is a ditz and a control freak and dumping her, now you are dating your wife's less attractive wing woman hoping to recapture some of what you had with your wife. The Eagles ladies and gents.

Such a fair comparison! Coughlin, Switzer, and Carroll all agree that coaching retreads are a bad idea!

I was also hoping to see you justify how it was McDaniels fault in St Louis, kind of disappointed.
