Coaching openings

Sorry zoom. I went overboard with it all. Just frustrated. I will try to be more objective.

Hey everything they do could be horrible right now.

But, this Quinn guy could be bad. But for the first time EVER we have a GM that isn't associated with the Ford Family.

Me likes that. He could be awful but we don't know that yet.

I hope he turns it around. Maybe he will be the first ex patriot to have success.

Sorry man, I just am bummed about the whole thing. I don't want to be compared to LKP. I went over board and I apologize. I will try to keep things in perspective. It's hard, been following them since the 70's and just want to see something that makes sense.

I get it man, I do. Hard to start over.......again......and again......and again.

But, the Quinn hire goes as far away from the MO of the old mad as possible. Hire a consultant. Yep. Go outside the organization? Yep. Hire a guy from a successful organization? Yep. Hire a guy with a scouting background? Yep.

If you don't like Quinn.....that's fine.....but to say it's the same ol Lions is just not correct.

Cool. Let's hope it's a new beginning. Your right, they did go about this totally different.

Will he be the first Browns coach to last more than 2 years since 2008?

After installing the team's lawyer at GM and the Moneyball guy at VP if they fire Hue they may as well just merge with the Indians.

In my opinion the Browns were Austin's best shot at being a head coach this season. I think it's highly likely we just kept our defensive coordinator one more year.

Chip Kelly seems most likely in San Fran at this point.

Tom Coughlin is desired in Philly.

Mularkey seems to me the guy in Tennessee.

Am I missing anywhere that might jump at Austin?

I'm 100 percent okay with McDaniels. I think he's seen enough of the NE system to know how a good team should function. Everyone can only point to keeping coordinators as to why they want Caldwell back. If these coordinators are the lord's gift to the world, they will be HCs somewhere else in a year or two. Then we are stuck with a coach who has ZERO in-game management, horrible at understanding the rules, can't challenge a call properly, and seems to have trouble counting to 11.

Don't half ass this rebuild. The top grime has been removed, keep going. Let Quinn get his guy and see how it goes from there.

He interviewed for the Gmen

Joe Lombardi back as QB coach with the Saints. How ever did they manage without him.

Tampa Bay or did they hire someone?

Yep. I wonder why those GM's aren't taking their time.

2 reasons........1. Quinn has a target. 2. We already have a HC

It's not hard to figure out from a fans point of view...

Lombardi finds a job lol

Mike Triplett
ESPN Staff Writer

The Saints are hiring Dan Campbell, Joe Lombardi and Aaron Glenn to their coaching staff, per source. Campbell will be an assistant head coach/tight ends coach. Current TE coach Dan Roushar is expected to remain on staff, with some shuffling likely. Lombardi will return to his former role at QB coach, and Glenn will be a secondary coach.
