I've made it clear I am not, and never was a Hilary Clinton fan. And while I was initially an enthusiastic Obama supporter (I met him personally a couple times before he was elected president), by 2012 I more or less figured if Romney won the election, things wouldn't be much different from '12-'16. Now, I consider him, and his wife, disappointments. I hope to never hear from either of them again.

But still... both Clinton and Obama served in government for years.

Trump never did. And he was a career fraud; he failed as a real estate developer, and never even managed an organization well, constantly siphoning money out to himself or other scams he was running... that's why he had to declare bankruptcy multiple times, why the USFL folded as early as it did, and why his "charity" was finally forced to close.

You said above character is a factor...

So, simple yes/no question: you think Trump is/was more qualified to be President than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama?

if you consider Bernie Sanders unqualified, you're echoing Hilary with that one.

you're also consciously making the decision to ignore his entire career history, from mayor to senator.

and ignoring the fact that he's been so successful at his job, he's been consistently re-elected by huge margins, and enjoys high approval ratings, despite the fact that the establishment and moneyed interests openly despise him.

I consider Bernie Sanders unqualified based on the fact he's an old loon bag who pushes moronic policies that only idiots think would or could work. The fact that Hillary also thinks he's unqualified is meaningless.

I'm not ignoring his entire career history, it's a big part of the basis for my opinion. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both won elections, as did Trump. That doesn't mean they're qualified. Of course the populace of the People's Republic of Vermont love him but that also doesn't make him effective or qualified, it just means some of the most leftist people in the country in one of the most leftist states like their unaccomplished, lay about fraud of a leftist Senator.

If anyone is consciously making the decision to ignore anything, it's you ignoring the fact that he's accomplished nothing other than getting elected in the 49th most populated state and probably 1st most homogenous - it's all white lefty loon bags, you would love it there.

Totally meaningless. Serving in government doesn't make anyone more qualified than a business person, doctor, lawyer or garbage man. Being unaccountable in a massively wasteful bureaucracy for decades and doing nothing to fix it and more likely, being responsible or at least contributing to growing the leviathan often makes government people less qualified particularly given what we need is massive change and particularly if they used their position to enrich themselves while compromising national interests.

and yes, while I don't think Trump is qualified or deserving of the office, I think he is more qualified than both and at least as worthy if not more than Hillary. I think Hillary Clinton is one of the most corrupt people in the country and she should be in prison and I think Barack Obama is a complete fraud.
