Commissioner Dave Dombrowski??

I'm not sure if you like your job or not but have you ever had to make a decision on either a job that's fun, you like to to do or another not so much fun but with higher pay and more Responsibilities? I have to enjoy my job.

And you really think the Commish actually changes the game that much?

The Commish is the ONLY guy who does change the game.

Nothing happens without his say so.

Take baseball in the early 80's.

And look at it now, and say the commissioner has not changed it.

St. Louis might win another World Series that they would not even have had a chance to play for before Selig.

I'd call that changing the game.

I'm not sure I'd call adding a wild card as "changing the game", lol. Many fans still don't like it.

And if I'm not mistaken, the commish can't get thing one done without the owners.

He did say it was just his opinion that he would rather be the gm than commish. He didn't say you guys were idiots for wanting to be the commish. lol Easssssy

This is where I'll disagree with you...it doesn't have to appease people to be changing the game. That was a huge change.

Maybe but that was in the best interest of the owners, more money. But I get your point.

:)

If DD leaves there goes our Florida Marlins connection and about 5 or 6 other connections with other GM'S FOR MAKING TRADES

I'm sure if he left Al Avila could pick right up where he left off, i don;t think other GM's give 2 shits who they are dealing with, as long as they feel they are coming out on top.
