Complaining about the O has replaced...

You guys make it seem like teams went on long drives before they scored. They would just as quick as we would, only more often. The defense is a ton better. I don't think its because our offense has a slower tempo

For whatever reason, the offense just seems to get out of rhythm, and just can't seem to get back into it for a while, especially on the road.

That said, 2-2 on the road in conference this season.

Not great, but a far sight better than it's been in recent years.

Go Blue!!!

I believe the offense controlling the clock has helped the defense, but this defense has done a 180 from last season. Michigan's offense has STILL had it's moments of inexplicable turnovers/inability to move the ball. But this season, the defense has responded and squashed any momentum by the opponent on many occasions. Last season, any sudden change on the field sent Michigan's defense into tremendous fits of disaster.

I do like the fact that F.T. has stepped up and become the primary ball-carrier BUT am disappointed that Borges has all but eliminated the zone read (which RR did to a point last season as well) and want to see DRob be more of a run threat when he passes.

However, it would take a FAILURE OF EPIC PROPORTIONS to even compare him to Greg Robinson. If Borges has the WRs hug Teddy Ruxpin on the sideline, then you can get nervous...

Actually, I think you missed the point.

Jeez, Tinsel where did you get that picture. Hilarious!

I have been disappointed with the offense the last two games. How much time was the O inside the Illinois 30 and did not score. I think for most of the 2nd quarter the O was inside the Illini 20! Well maybe not, but it sure seemed like it! And did not score. Seems like the wheels come off and they can't seem to figure out how to get them back on. If Illinois had a better offense, and our D had not played so well, yesterday's game would have been much closer. I am happy with the win yesterday, but I hope the O will play a lot better at home for the next two games.

A lot of fans tend to forget that last year's O in B1G play wasn't exactly all world. The games featuring good offensive production were shootouts (Ill, Iowa). As I recall there was a ton of bitching about the offense during conference play on the ESPN board.
