Coronainsanity

I don?t know.

I suppose I could do a poll.

I think it?s more likely he?s the one of the go-to people for worthless mitigation supporting public health officials, teacher never returning to the classroom with an argument based on voodoo supporting public employee union leaders, to cite and share videos of because people don?t track the caveats.

If we were talking about a movie or a TV show, I think you'd voice more expectations regarding intent, messaging, and interpretation, but that switch seems to flip off when it comes to political theater.

Why the quotes around financial position and secret? It's exactly what he did.

I was quoting you.

If you wanted to give an example of something not above board, this would be a good one. It's what that phrase means.

I don't agree, based on this statement. Unless you claim that Paul is lying about when he learned that the reporting form was not transmitted.

"Kelsey Cooper, a spokeswoman for Paul, said the senator completed a reporting form for his wife?s investment last year, but learned only recently, while preparing an annual disclosure, that the form had not been transmitted. He sought guidance from the Senate Ethics Committee, she said, and filed the supplemental report along with an annual disclosure Wednesday."

I wonder how many politicians who took Pfizer, J&J or Moderna money or have equity positions in those companies have said people who had COVID probably don't need the shots...

I am suspicious that he is lying, yes. It is so convenient that his financial position and disclosure failure aligned so nicely with his very public rhetoric without his knowledge. Seems to me like a very obvious thing to be suspicious of.

This can be easily confirmed or refuted by the Senate ethics committee which leads me to believe it's true - quite possibly verified and conveniently left out of the article. If it wasn't true, no way they leave that out. This along with my prior heavily sarcastic comment about the position (at most, it's 0.6% of his reported net worth) leads me to believe this is a nothing burger used to discredit him for not stepping inline.

His "very public rhetoric" has been going on for nearly as long as COVID. As for "obvious" things to be "suspicious" of well ... where to begin when it comes to this topic of COVID?

I NEVER walk into a place with my mask on anymore; generally people there don?t say anything; occasionally someone does.

From now on, if anybody asks me to put a mask on, I?m going to say ?oh, it?s okay - I already smeared chicken blood all over myself today.?

Maybe we'll find out tomorrow that Fauchi shorted that company in secret too.

That doesn?t mean everything bad said about Fauci is untrue.

It would be incredible if someone existed for whom everything bad said about him was untrue, like as a curse or something. Punishment for spreading lies about a witch, maybe. Might be a good premise.

Even if it's first or only reported by the Daily Wire?

We know Ben Shapiro is very pro vaccine.

I don?t know if he thinks people who have recovered from Covid need to VAX; I suppose he doesn?t.

We?ve talked about T detect; certainly a person who has had the Covid could be tested for the T cells to see how enduring they are. Obviously nobody knows for sure how enduring they are or not; some doctors think Covid is rooted in SARS, and that viruses T cells have been very enduring.

I think we?ve talked about that too.

we have and I'm looking forward to the results of my T cell test. If I had the COVID, it would have been December of 2019 so if they detect it, we'll know they have the potential to last 19+ months. Since I'm not certain I had it, a negative result will tell us nothing.

According to him, he was unaware it was undisclosed. I expect that the Senate Ethics Committee will get to the bottom of this situation.

Why? Is the Senate Ethics Committee an independent organization with a solid track record of finding and penalizing abuse? Or do Senators pretty much get away with whatever they want? All these Senators getting rich, probably nothing to see there.

Well, the Campaign Legal Center is requesting that the SEC look into possible insider trading violations. (Link is to the board of directors)

"The Campaign Legal Center has filed a complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee targeting Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, alleging that the senator may have failed to comply with an insider trading law."

"A spokeswoman for the Kentucky senator told the Post that the failure to disclose was an oversight by Paul and that he'd sought the guidance of the Senate Ethics Committee in newly disclosing the purchases. But CLC argues that Sen. Paul's office should've known better."

It?s interesting to read or watch CNN, MSNBC, mainstream media and all the late night ?funny? men talk about DeSantis, then actually listen to DeSantis talk about the virus?

https://youtu.be/8jMkHu0GyXw

These people are also all ?Cuomosexuals?. So strange that they seem to have take. Completely opposite positions on both for their handling of the virus and they are 100% wrong in both cases. E should probably still trust them though.

My understanding is that the surge in Florida has plateaued and is now on the decline, and as the governor is explaining in the video, this is the typical pattern of surges according to some epidemiology is he quoted.

Governor DeSantis is also a very strong proponent an advocate of getting the vaccine, which makes sense based on the ages of people in Florida and the risk calculations resulting there in.
