I don't know. Who cares? The other stuff looks more promising. Last time I read about an HCQ study, I thought the results were statistically on the edge of maybe being significant.

The first anecdote isn't the most useful data point. I'm pretty sure there were studies showing it worked. And, I think, bigger followup studies showing it didn't work as well as the first studies. But we've got 17 other things to try, so why stay hung up on the one? If it's great, studies will/would have reveal/ed it.
