I dont love milliner....i just realize that there is a need that has to be filled and im not blinded by homerism. Even if we go de rd 1 and cb rd 2 we we would still be in a better situation in the secondary than last year. We had all those guys you keep mentioning last year and it led to the worst rated secondary outside the hashes in the NFL. Remember your josh robinson argument?....or are you going to contradict yourself on that too?

We have Mosley for SLH and Fairley proved he should play more. He's better when he plays more.

Bartell, Green and Greenwood son on top of Bentley getting healed up. Oline help and one Right End. Make it happen Mayhew.

5 surgeries and Milliners was more recently. Bentley is a late 3rd round pick. BIG differnce than pick 5. The only contradicting is you hating Broyles and then loving Milliner.

Small fact you left out. When fairley was forced to play more...he got injured. We need depth on the dline.

Ps...i didnt hate broyles cause of the knee as much as i hated the pick cause i knew he wouldnt see the field and we had holes everywhere. Mayhews total disregard for need during the draft is not working. Theres no plan ahead in his game....hence no des on our roster this offseason.

C'mon LKP...Bartell is hot garbage and you know it.

Not based on how he graded out last year for the Raiders once he got healthy and how he played for the Lions in Week 17. Gordon beat him for a TD. Big deal one play.

Doesn't mean he would get injured in the future. It was a late cheap shot by the Packers. Fairley played most of the year without CW and ton of snaps as a top 5 DT. He wasn't injured right away. Far from it. Plus they have Mosley.

And you could still rotate Jones if you wanted. When Young comes in on passing downs for Jones and Fairley needs a rest, put Jones at DT. The high pick rookie would be at Right End the majority of the time plus you talk to some vets out there. I'd love Freeney still.

It was a very smart pick. You draft for the future and Broyles is the future. Broyles did see the field as Burleson and Young went down. Broyles played great for both of them. Then he went down unluckily. The Lions didn't have a ton of KNOWN holes at the time. Injuries on top of injuries caused alot holes. And like I said the guy you wanted in Josh Robinson sucked so we are in even worse shape. You'd be complaining about Robinson instead of Broyles. Or be in my boat and hope in year 2 Robinson gets it like Bentley, Greenwood and Green could get it.

Someone always trades up for a QB

Sounds like Buffalo wants Barkley at 8. If thats the case, everybody hoping for a trade down might get their wish if someone wants to jump in front of Buffalo

ive heard nassib all day at 8 cause of the syracuse tie and are affraid that the jets will use one of their picks on him.

I don't like the option of taking the 3rd best OL at pick 5.

Meh if he's only slightly behind Joeckel and Fisher than he's still a good prospect.

And Big Ben was the 3rd best QB in his draft class. He worked out.
