Hmmm... yeah. Modelo is an actual Mexican brewery (also own Corona, Pacifico, and a couple other Mexican beers). Not sure how they'd react to that. I'd wager, like most rich Mexicans, the ownership of Grupo Modelo is fairly conservative, and generally of European (Spanish) descent.

But the kinda guys that we're talking about probably still wouldn't consider them "white" and so they wouldn't buy it.

They've posted other AB InBev brands they're buying in protest, (like this genius) so they seem to really only be mad at Bud Light, without understanding that the money's all going to the same place.
