Check out this piece from left wing Mediaite detailing how these reactionaries got a middle school teacher to resign when all she wanted was for her students to read and celebrate books...

What's this world or at least this country coming to when a middle school teacher can't have her kids read a book about how to engage in gay sex, give hand jobs, learn proper oral sex techniques all with graphic depictions of the acts for extra understanding? The book also introduces them to smart phone apps that help them find a willing sex partner near by - what parent doesn't want that for their 11 to 14 year old? America hating far right extremists are going to destroy this country.

Seriously, the best part about these stories is watching leftists defend them. No doubt this is what Johnny2x2x et al are talking about when they say conservatives are "banning books." here are some of the headlines around this story:

as far as the Operation Paperclip quote, I've learned there is quite a difference there and we should have inquired and have put those coming over (and those in our own government bringing them) under the same scrutiny that we put Communists or "communist friendly" people under in the 50's.
