David Duke loves Ilhan Omar

Oh-no you didn?t know that Alex Trebek was diagnosed with stage four cancer?

G-I?m sorry I was the one to have to break it to you.

No, I knew that. It was your main premise I didn't understand. It almost seemed like you were saying my question in itself was anti semetic. But surely that couldn't have been the case. That would be silly.

Oh, sorry - I had thought I?d responded to this-

I had thought I was making a very clever joke- but apparently it wasn?t that funny.

But no, I wasn?t saying that your question in itself was anti-semetic.

Let me first say I think she's an idiot for choosing this hill to die on. You'll never convince me that the people of Minnesota elected her for her strong opinions on Israel. Bigger fish to fry.

Having said that, how does one criticize the country of Israel or the United States support of Israel without coming off as anti semetic? If she'd have said 'Jews' instead of Israel I would get it. But it seemed she was referring to the country itself? Help me out. Most of you seem to be in the 'she's a jew hater' crowd.

she definitely was not elected for her opinions on Israel. We know this, because she refused to give them during the campaign because she didn't want to risk losing the Jewish vote which swings heavily Democratic.

a suit and tie.

Single tickets are 55 bucks, but if I reserve a table for 10 I can get a five dollar discount per ticket.

Ben Shapiro lives somewhere here in Los Angeles. Maybe I can rustle up some of my Jewish friends and he can rustle up some of his Jewish friends (he’s actually Jewish) and together we can go in on a table for 10.

He is a big fan of Ilhan Omar. Probably most of his friends are too.

EDIT: Shit, I just realized it’s on a Saturday-Shabbat-and practicing Jews aren’t really allowed to do a lot of shit before sundown, which would be a little less than an hour after the event starts.

Fortunately, most of my Jewish friends don’t pay much attention to the rules of Shabbat but I’m pretty sure Been Schapiro and most of his Jewish friends would be different about that.

Maybe I should see if Bill Maher wants to get a group of his friends together together. I’m pretty sure if he has any Jewish friends they wouldn’t be that religious, and I know how much Bill Maher loves Muslims.

Ilhan Omar spits some serious fire at Barack Obama. damn.

Republitard posters aren't going to know how to react to this...

"Duh, doers this mean Ilhan Omar bad or good now, durrrrr?!?!"

if it's within walking distance, the orthodox Jews can attend - or maybe they can go in a car as long as they're not driving, I forget how the rules work and as you pointed out, some are more strict w/ the rules than others. One of my friends in NYC was really strict but in weird ways - he could watch college football on Saturday but he couldn't operate the remote so he would knock on his neighbors door and ask her to turn it on. but then he could only watch one channel til sundown or have her come over and change it for him. He came to my wedding on a Saturday (late morning) - I think he came out Friday before sundown then either walked to the church or caught a ride. About 6 years ago he quit his job and started a jello shot company, lives in Vegas and is no longer orthodox.

claiming people abuse the term "racist" in a thread you started about abusing the term "anti-semite" to attack a congresswoman who criticised the government of Israel and its lobbyists here... that is... something.

"Playing the Race Card" -

Example 1

Relatively under-qualified job candidate loses opportunity to a more highly qualified candidate and blames the outcome on race. This is "playing the race card."

Example 2

Former Grand Wizard of the KKK says "white people" are superior to other races. This is not a "race card" issue, this is plain old racism.

When people say racist things or act in a racist way and are called on it, it's simply noting and remarking on racism and someone being racist. Fox News likes to get all snowflakey gay and throw around a term like "playing the race card" but often times it's just simple racism being called out.

pretty clear if you ask me.
