Delmas cut

Delmas is a good player but not at that price. People over exaggerate the hit on Bentley and only remember that play it seems. He was strong in coverage this year (fact) and made alot of good tackles in the open field. I'd be happy to bring him back cheap but I'm sure Delmas has a sour taste in his mouth that when the big money came due after a healthy year, the Lions let him walk. We'll see what he gets this time on the open market. Lots of safeties out there though.
And Delmas with his knees is not a guy you sign long term. Chris Clemons is and that gives you more cap flexibility (see Quins deal, 2 million cap number only in 2013).
