So what is the Delmas situation...how many games do the Lions think he misses??
Last I heard, smitty, was that he should be back for the opener...

*Gunther Cunningham says Bill Bentley is a cross between Dick 'Night Train' Lane and Deion Sanders. Not surprisingly (and possibly forgetting he said the same thing about Alphonso Smith two years ago), Cunningham believes Bentley is the best DB he has ever coached.
Gunther recalls, "This one time, at training camp, Bill Bentley stuck a flute in his ass and STILL could play press coverage on Calvin Johnson." If this account is true it alone has the potential to make him the best cornerback ever to come out of Popeye's(tm) Louisiana Lafayette University.
*Louis Delmas, battling injuries his whole career, is visiting Dr. James Andrews today. "I am looking into a procedure that will give me metal legs, it is a risky operation, but I think it will be worth it", Delmas was quoted as saying before asking a female reporter to "Come sit on my face".
*Contrary to media reports, Erik Coleman may be not a washed up veteran who spent last year on IR and whose last full season ended in him being cut.
"It was like a bad dream", and Erik believes, "that it was actually a dream inside a dream, possibly, inside a dream. I don't know, I'll tell you if this damn top would just stop spinning."
*John Wendling, starting in Friday's preseason game, has now moved into second all time behind Jason Sehorn in the modern NFL's best white defensive backs. Not to be out done by the legend who is famously married to former Law and Order star Angie Harmon, Wendling is scheduled to miss two days of training camp to wed Mariska Hargatay.
*Troubling reports out of camp today, Jacob Lacey, the worst cover corner in the NFL last year and cut by the league worst Indianapolis Colts, got more bad news as he was shot today by what appeared to be a disgruntled Aaron Berry. Berry, remorseful, explained that he had come in to pick up his last cheque and was only aiming at some kids on the sideline who had been mouthing off to him in the parking lot. Berry appeared to have been drinking. Ironically for Lacey he likely would have been cut from the Lions if the undrafted third year man Berry didn't have such problems in the first place.
Bob Sanders the remix.
Delmas has nagging injuries. Bob Sanders was out entire seasons almost. Delmas has played double digit games every year
