Funny, I was about to make a thread last night about clubhouse issues.

Specifically, I think there is something brewing between Boesch and Cabrera.

When Boesch hits a homerun, (check last 2 vids) Cabrera goes to the plate to offer a mild congratulations, and Boesch does not make eye contact, just a light swat of the low-five and off to the dugout.

When Cabrera does with Boesch on base, Brennen does not wait at or near home plate to celebrate, just walks off towards the dugout. (check last couple vids of hr's with men on, specifically Brennan)

Then go watch the vids vs. Boston, Boesch waits and celebrates enthusiastically with Cabrera after his homeruns vs avilies.

Maybe we need Victor to travel with the team even if he cant play.

Also, I may just be crazy, and nothing is wrong....someone tell me in crazy...

Am I the only one concerned we have players highly intoxicated 16 hours before game time?

At .08 BAC, it takes roughly 8 hours to return to 0. At .16, it would 16 hours. I am really curious as to what his actual BAC was.

They do have drunk and disorderly charges they can file. Because they didn't file those charges I would assume he probably was not legally intoxicated.

In addition, based on what I know about low 30's groups of dudes near times square at 4am in NYC who are tourists, is that they tend to be real toolbags. In all likelihood, it will probably come out that these 4 were harassing the homeless guy who approached them and that Delmon probably took offense to that in some way.

Exactly. After being at the game where Miggy was still drunk against the Sox only a few rows up behind homeplate, it's ridiculous that it ever happens. I said to my dad and brother-in-law several times during the game that something looked really off with Miggy, and lo and behold, there was. He was still drunk.

I kinda wonder if this hasn't been an ongoing issue with DY when you look at his temper, and consistency of play. It sounds really trivial, but where are the handlers, coaches, teammates to bring this up when they see it? Is it really that tough to notice when people you are working beside are wasted?

I was just thinking the same thing. He just pushed a guy right? Why couldn't THAT guy be drunk and hounding Delmon and Delmon, who's probably irritated just shoved him and the guy did a Zack Novak flop? I could drink two quick beers in 10 minutes I'm sure and blow a .08. Doesn't mean he was drunk. Maybe they just got into town and he wanted to eat dinner? I D K? Weird
