Ihedigbo is strong in run support and the blitz. Not so much in coverage. He would play strong safety and Quin moves to free safety.

good deal for a former 7th rounder... too bad we couldn't resign him though, it leaves a much larger hole at DE now

I am still hopeful for a Trent Murphy pick in the 2nd round. My perfect draft would be:

#2 Trent Murphy DE
#3 Kyle Van Noy OLB
#4 Calvin Barnett DT
#6 Jordan Navjar TE
#7 Chris Boswell, K

That of course is assuming no trades, which never happens.

Special Teams guy who can spell guys when they need a break. Doubtful Tapp is really the replacement for Young, but he may push Taylor.

Tapp played between 250-450 snaps each year with Eagles 2010-2012. Good run D, solid pass rush 2010/2011.

3-4 OLB didn't fit him last year in Washington.

Backup vet with special team value. 4th DE. More of an Idonije replacement.

Of course not, he doesn't fit at all. Plus he is old.

There's no way that Tapp is starting at DE, ever. Ansah for sure will start, with either Jason Jones or Devin Taylor manning the other DE position for now. If we sign another DE in free agency, that might change.
