Detroit Lions FA Thread

Romo 2013, 31-10 TD-INT. 64%-7.5YPA. Now you're saying Stafford was just as good..

I could give a shit about Yards and TD. Quit throwing the pick 6, or into the ground when the receiver is 5 yards away, or throwing to guys like Durham when he's blanketed. Basically, be smarter. No one says he has to get 5000 yards. It's not a milestone anymore..

If no ones open most of the game you got to make something happen and mistakes happen. He's the same guy that threw for 5000. Personal changes, injuries, drops, and turnovers can change the way a guy plays, plays that are called, and the overall outcome of the game.

Again, it's all about the yards isn't it? He throws 650-700 times, who cares about the yards. This theory about guys never open is bullshit. All season he missed guys who were open, easy passes..and if not, it's a novel idea - READ A PROGRESSION. But he's dumb as a brick sometimes.

Romo had 7 more easy drives inside 20 (31 to 29 TDS). Romo had a much better drop rate for comp % differnce. Ints Romo did better but Stafford had to force at times due to his weapon issues. Some were crazy picks to in Justin Tuck, first Baltimore pick, Calvin drop into Bucs hands, his pick Week 4 against Bears, tipped ball Week 1 againt Minnesota.

YPA was similar.Yes Stafford is just ass good as Romo but Stafford had a tougher set of circumstances than Romo and some bad luck.

And the Cowboys didn't fare too well against NFC North. 1-3. You guys blame Stafford, well Romo lost to Detroit and to Matt Flynn.

It's not about the yards but if that's what your getting out of everything I'm saying then go with it. I guess it's just over your head. Watch some over head film and get back to me.

Learn to understand that 11 wins in two years, 59% on accuracy and still can't fathom Staff hasn't been good..and it's over my head :lmao:

I supposed, just like lkp, you rewatch the games over and over again?

Are you willing to share the tape you watched to determine no one is open most the game? I only get the television feed. Be interesting to see the tape you watch to be able to clearly see that is the issue.

I refuse to believe that ANYONE re-watches Lions games over and over for "scouting material" on the Internet.

Most of the Lions games I have seen in my lifetime were too painful to watch the first time, let alone a replay... and then another.. and another... and another....

I think LKP needs to see someone if he's watched any of our loses more than once.

Nfl game rewind...I work too much to catch it live

I agree. Half the time I have a hard time making it through the 4th quarter.

He's in the 7 to 10 range and he's paid that way.

I've watched every Lions game about 3-4 times. Rewind you can watch it in half an hour. My wife takes forever to get ready usually and I don't care for basketball or baseball. I like hockey though.

If you rewatch you would see Stafford doing his job and really carrying this offense. An offense that has to drive a long distant usually to score. There are some turnovers but everything I have said is true about drop rates, fumbles, run game deficiences in losses. Stafford is one of the reasons we are competitive and in the 7 wins he made a ton of plays.

Comp % doesn't mean much because of that drop rate and WRs not getting separation. Wins and losses, Stafford does enough to win games, various things let him down. Rarely himself but some games (Bucs/Ravens for instance).

Dalton, cutler, romo, Ryan, smith, tannenhill, Flacco, Foles to name a few

Let's take half that list.

Romo, Matt Ryan, Foles. What makes you like stafford over them. All three are more accurate, turn the ball over less and have a higher career QB rating.

I'm not going through all that. It's my opinion. Put stafford on those teams he would out perform them.
