Matt Patricia has his younger players work an extra session at the end of practices so they can make it more vanilla for rookies and those new to the system so they can evaluate them as football players without worrying too much about scheme, etc.

Matt Patricia said the new helmet rule is being taught and emphasized more in the classroom than on the field because they've always taught to not lead with the top of the helmet. Patricia said he's not totally sure how the rule is going to change the game this year.

Tavon Wilson, Chad Meredith, Cam Johnson and Stefan McClure all doing side work during stretching ? a sign that they may not be practicing Monday. Wilson was on the side with PUP players Ezekiel Ansah and Cornelius Washington.
