Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Only 1 team has allowed fewer QB hits than the Lions.
There?s at least one positive thing the Lions are doing right now.
We could use some good news around these parts given the Detroit Lions? 1-3 record, and, thankfully, there actually is some out there.

For years, the Lions have tried to fix their offensive line in a desperate effort to make sure Matthew Stafford stops getting killed in the backfield. Stafford was the most sacked quarterback from 2014 to 2017, but those days may finally be over.

Not only was Stafford the least-sacked starting quarterback through the first three weeks of the season, but there is only one team in the entire league that has allowed more quarterback hits than the Detroit Lions.
Total quarterback hits allowed through Week 4:

LAR-12
CAR-13 (BYE)
DET-13
TEN-13
NO-14
CIN-15
CHI-16
MIA-16
NYJ-16
JAX-17
LAC-18
WAS-18 (BYE)
PIT-19
BAL-20
OAK-20
NE-23
GB-24
MIN-25
NYG-25
ARI-27
DAL-27
DEN-28
KC-29
SEA-29
SF-30
TB-30
ATL-31
IND-31
BUF-33
CLE-34
PHI-35
HOU-45

The addition of Frank Ragnow, who has drastically improved his pass protection over the past two weeks, appears to have been the final piece to the puzzle. However, how will the Lions offensive line look now that T.J. Lang is out.
