2019 Detroit Lions POD Awards: The Nominees.
Time to nominate your picks for the 2019 Pride of Detroit Awards.
POD

The Oscars have concluded, and that means it?s time for the second-most anticipated award ceremony in the world! The PODies! Wait, no, that sounds like potties. The Pridies! Sure, let?s go with that.

Every year, we hand out award for the previous season of work for the Detroit Lions, and the results are 100 percent based on your vote. Sure, it may not seem like a great year to hand out awards, but there are still individuals that deserve some recognition for their efforts and some moments worthy of reliving.

Before we get into voting?which is begin next week?it?s time for the nomination process. We will be handing out Pridies for 10 different categories this year. In the comment section, please declare your nominations for each of the category. I will then take all of the nominations and present polls for each category to vote on. (Note: I may add/delete my own nominations, if necessary. Sorry, but I?m the boss.)

Here are the categories for the 2019 Pridies:
MVP
Offensive Player of the Year
Defensive Player of the Year
Special Teams Player of the Year
Rookie of the Year
Breakout Player of the Year
Game of the Year
Play of the Year
Coach of the Year
Pride of Detroit Moment of the Year (site specific)
