Pride Of Detroit Lions Podcast: Breaking down Reggie Ragland signing, top 5 Lions games on NFL Game Pass. 81 minutes.
A look at the Week 2 free agency moves, and the best Lions games you can now watch for free!
The second wave of Detroit Lions free agency didn?t draw a lot of headlines. Though they did add some depth to the team that may figure into their special teams units in 2020, it?s unlikely that anyone signed last week is going to figure into the team?s major plans next season and going forward.
That is, except for one. Super Bowl-winning linebacker Reggie Ragland is one of the most interesting signing the Lions made last week. Though he?s far from guaranteed to latch onto a roster spot, the former second-round pick certainly has a chance to be part of the Lions? defensive plans in 2020. But where does that leave everyone else? Is Jarrad Davis? starting job in jeopardy? What about Christian Jones? And how does that change the outlook of the linebacker position for the future and the NFL Draft?
We talk about all of that on this week?s PODcast, but we don?t stop there. NFL Game Pass is currently free for everyone through the end of May. That means you can watch any Detroit Lions game from 2009 to 2019. So to help you make it through the boredom of quarantine, Ryan and I went through the top five Lions games to watch from that era. Plus, we answer your mailbag questions.
This week on the PODcast:
The Lions made a lot of special teams moves. Why? Were special teams that bad? What does that mean for the old special teams guys (C.J. Moore, Miles Killebrew, Steve Longa, etc.)
Reggie Ragland. What does he bring? What?s his ceiling? And is this the beginning of the end for Jarrad Davis.
Mailbag talks draft, management styles and Bob Quinn?s progress(?) on the offensive line.
TOP FIVE LIONS GAMES ON GAME PASS. Ryan loses his damn mind, while my list is undoubtedly perfect.
