Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 271 ? Lions Slaying The Preseason. 65 minutes.

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff Risdon get together with the latest Lions info including the news that the preseason has been cut in half. We also take a look at Darius Slay?s recent comments about the Lions not concealing their defensive secondary intentions. We cover the status of the supplemental draft, and more.

Detroit Lions Podcast ? Plenty of Lions Content Here.
Looks like the preseason has been cut in half for the upcoming NFL season. The first and last games of the preseason will be removed from the schedule which leaves the Lions playing the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. There are a number of considerations as a result ? including, how will less preseason football affect the quality of regular season play? How could this affect injuries? We answer these questions and more in our coverage.

We also go into listener questions about the ceiling that the defense might have based on the changes and upgrades this offseason, and we also discuss Jahlani Tavai?s shoulder injury and how things look there. After listener questions we chat about the comments Darius slay recently made in response to Brian Baldinger?s conversation with Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers. It likely a lot less to worry about than most information and content-starved writers would want you to think, and we?ll help put context around it. Remember, it pays to keep a level head. Things are rarely as bad (or good) as we are told they are. It?s just more information to add to what we already have.
