Speaking of contracts, Megatron looks to be caught in some pay-cut conversation, according to Mlive.com. Calvin Johnson runs the show in Detroit, but this season he hasn?t exactly been stellar like past seasons. And the problem with that is, he?s paid to be stellar. The Detroit Lions WR is most certainly not mediocre by any means, but a pay cut to his a seven-year, $113.5 million deal may not be out of the question. After all, his contract pays him more annually than any receiver has ever made in the history of the game. Not to mention, a $24 million salary cap hit coming up next year. Johnson?s response to considering a pay cut to stay with the Lions? ?We?ll consider those things when or if they happen.? And when he was asked about whether Sunday?s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers could be his last home game in Detroit? ?I don?t know.?
