ZACH ZENNER KEY TO LIONS UPSET.
The former undrafted product of South Dakota State has exploded to become a bright spot for an otherwise inefficient Lions run game.
But ESPN Lions reporter Michael Rothstein asks, with enough tape out on him now, will he get minimized Saturday?

No Lions made the AP All-Pro team and only two -- cornerback Darius Slay and punter Sam Martin -- received votes. They both got one vote at their positions.

STAFFORD ELEVATED LIONS INTO JANUARY.
Leadership can be hard to quantify, but Field Yates says Matthew Stafford showed plenty of it throughout 2016 -- especially in this last month, playing through his injured finger.

SEAHAWKS ARE HEAVY FAVORITES AT HOME.
Seattle has struggled of late, but ESPN's Football Power Index expects the Hawks to roll over the Lions. FPI pegs the Seahawks as 4-1 favorites at home, where they've won nine straight playoff games.

Lions' playoff skid has covered four coaches, five QBs, eight stadiums.
espn

The Lions have lost playoff games under four head coaches (Wayne Fontes lost four, Bobby Ross lost two and Jim Schwartz and Jim Caldwell lost one each).

They have lost with five different starting quarterbacks (Erik Kramer, Dave Krieg, Scott Mitchell, Gus Frerotte and Stafford have lost two playoff games apiece).

And they have failed to win in eight stadiums, three of which no longer exist (RFK Stadium, Pontiac Silverdome, Lambeau Field, Veterans Stadium, Houlihan?s Stadium, Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, Mercedes-Benz Superdome and AT&T Stadium).

Three presidents -- Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama -- have not seen the Lions win a playoff game during their time in office.

Matthew Stafford improved team?s win probability more than any other quarterback in 2016.
One stat makes a tangible argument for Matthew Stafford as the league?s MVP.
Win Probability Added (or WPA) is a statistic that takes every individual play from a player and adds up how much each play helped or hurt a team?s probability to win a game.

Matthew Stafford led all NFL quarterbacks in WPA in 2016:
