2017 Detroit Lions offseason needs: Defensive tackle needs a boost.
With no pressure, no push, and no disruption, the Detroit Lions defensive tackle group needs a big boost this offseason.

The offseason begins now and the Detroit Lions need help at almost every position on defense, starting with defensive end. from January 9th.

Yep. Whitehead is a 4th LB.......we were playing him as our #1 guy. We need two starting caliber LB's this offseason. If the zit is your 4th LB.....you're doing well........but as a #1?

Looks like the Defense needs alot. DE DT LB CB. Just doesn't seem to be feasible to do it all in one draft or even with FA added.
 
Lions 2016 draft class had bigger impact this year than 2015 draft class.
Bob Quinn?s first draft had a big impact on the 2016 season.

Many believe this is the year the Lions' defensive coordinator finally gets a head coaching gig. But Alden Gonzalez wonders if he'd be the right fit for the Rams, given their more pressing needs for improvement on offense.

The San Diego Chargers announced they have finished their interview with Detroit Lions DC Teryl Austin. He is the sixth announced candidate to interview for the Chargers post. It's the third straight year Austin has had at least one head coaching interview.
