Detroit Lions talking up Jace Billingsley for 2017.
Jace Billingsley could have a role with the team going forward.
The Detroit Lions promoted wide receiver Jace Billingsley to the active roster toward the end of the season, usually a sign that they don?t want him poached by another team.
This could mean the Lions foresee a future for Billingsley, which was corroborated by the Detroit Free Press? Dave Birkett in his weekly chat last week: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C2E-FTBUsAAuTKL.jpg

Though the Lions were one of the worst teams in third down efficiency on third-and-medium on offense,
they were the best in the league at third-and-long: Cooter got a lot of flak for his 3rd & long play calling- #Lions were best in the league in 3rd & 10+ yds conversion rate: 33.9%.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Blog Podcast Ask POD: Podcast never sleeps. 90 minutes.
There?s not much football left but this podcast well never runs dry.

This is the second offseason episode and Ryan already gave me that look that says ?oh god, we still have to do this in the offseason don?t we?? Guess what, sweetheart? We do. We all do. It never ends.

The mailbag never ends either and we need your questions if we?re going to keep this little kitten rolling down the hill. Send us anything that?s on your mind?doesn?t have to be about Lions football!?and we?ll throw them in the show. You can listen and hear your questions. Isn?t that fun?

Fire them off to the comments below or send us a tweet to @PrideOfDetroit with the hashtag #AskPOD. We take all we can so fire away.
