Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Saw injured Lions LB Brandon Copeland as I was coming down in the elevator at MetLife. Makes his offseason home in New Jersey. He had surgery to repair his injured pec last month.

ODDS FAVOR G-MEN IN THE MEADOWLANDS
Matthew Stafford is 3-11 for his career in prime-time games, but one of those wins is against the Giants. Still, ESPN's FPI doesn't like the Lions' chances Monday night, giving the Giants nearly a 60 percent chance to win.

Odell Beckham Jr., now on the field for warmups, just stopped mid-stride to say hello to Lions coach Jim Caldwell. Beckham seemed to be in good spirits and you could actually hear the hand-slap between the two from 20 yards away.

Lions owner Martha Ford here at MetLife tonight. Just got driven by in a golf cart. When she passed Golden Tate, he gave her a big smile and a thumbs up. Martha Ford has made most road trips since taking over ownership of the club.

Rookie receiver Kenny Golladay -- the focus of a lot of attention this week -- got a little bit extra work in with Jake Rudock after the rest of the receivers went inside the locker room. A lot of start/stop stuff. Looks sharp and ready to go.

Lions inactives: CB Teez Tabor, WR Jared Abbrederis, RB Zach Zenner, RB Tion Green, LB Nick Bellore, OL Zac Kerin and OL Emmett Cleary. Mostly the same group as last week. Means Dwayne Washington remains the third running back.
