Detroit Lions - Team Notes

I hope this thread and the Lions news stories are a help to those of you that click on the thread.

As I have said before, my football knowledge is very limited. idk a cover 2 or a 3 technique.

Question for you Ink or Booger or any of you, are there Lions writers who are more credible than others that you like or follow regulary?
I was wondering about Twentyman and O'Hara specifically. and Justin Rogers, Birkett, and those writers for Mlive, Freep, and Detnews.

Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com looked at Giants exec Marc Ross as a GM candidate for the Lions. Rod Wood said he wants someone who has been with an organization that has had success and stability, and there are few that have been more successful and stable than the Giants. Ross has played a key role in their drafts, including the brilliant 2014 selection of Odell Beckham Jr. On the flip side, the majority of Ross? experience has come on the draft side of things and not so much in free agency. Ultimately, thanks to his Princeton ties and previous buzz as a GM candidate around the league, Rothstein wouldn?t be surprised to see him get an interview.

Twentyman is the 'official' Lions writer and as such is just a cheerleader and press release guy. That being said he does get the latest on things like injuries etc. Personally I find the Mlive stuff pretty interesting at times.
 
I missed the 4th quarter. Tired and enough phantom and questionable penalties against the Lions by rotten refs. Even on that last play, no call on packers, but why not Lions receivers in there? Maybe Caldwell should go too.

Matt Stafford's wife is PISSED AGAIN ... claiming the refs "screwed" her husband's Detroit Lions out of another victory Thursday night -- and once again, she's venting on social media.
Kelly Stafford has a history of going public with her disdain for the officiating -- and this time, she was clearly upset with the controversial facemask penalty against the Lions that set up GB's game-winning Hail Mary TD on the last play of the game.
"At least my brother was here to see us get screwed per the usual," Kelly wrote ... adding, "#detroitvseverybody."
Earlier this season, Stafford's wife called the refs "incompetent" after the Lions lost to the Seahawks ... and last year, she criticized NFL officials for babying Aaron Rodgers.
Gotta love Kelly Stafford ... not afraid to speak her mind.
